Many thanks to Marc-David Munk, MD, emergency room physician and author of "Urgent Calls from Distant Places," for appearing on "The Art of Medicine with Dr. Andrew Wilner."


Dr. Munk and I talked for nearly an hour about his new book, which details his experiences as a "Flying Doctor" in East Africa. We also shared ideas about limitations and needed improvements in healthcare, both abroad and in the US.
