"Rebuilding Adam"a comeback from traumatic brain injury

Writer: anwilneranwilner

Many thanks to Adam Elnekaveh, author of "Rebuilding Adam: The Tragedy." Before his accident, Adam's life was on track. He was in top physical shape and preparing to market a new fitness app. It all changed while he was on vacation with his high school best friend in Thailand. While exploring Phuket on rented motorbikes, he suffered a life-threatening accident. His buddy found Adam lying in a pool of blood with a severe head injury. Admitted to intensive care, Adam spent ten days in a coma. His injuries were so bad that he was mistakenly pronounced dead.

During our 30-minute interview, Adam recounts his emotional and physical struggles as he spent grueling months in rehabilitation. The loss of independence was one of his most significant challenges. Adam's parents played a crucial role in his care and recovery.
