Dr. Rivera is Distinguished Emeritus Professor of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and the Founder and Inaugural Director of the Maxine Messenger MS Comprehensive Care Center. Therapeutic options for multiple sclerosis have dramatically expanded-yet availability and cost are quite uneven worldwide.
