continuing Medical Education for Locum Tenens Docs

Writer: anwilneranwilner

Nearly every state medical board requires continuing medical education (CME) from physicians to renew their licenses, usually about 20-25 Category 1 credit hours each year. While this only amounts to about 30 minutes a week of CME, a seemingly reasonable number, it doesn't take into account the specific courses that may be required that differ from state to state. In this 5-minute video, I highlight the important facts about CME that locum tenens physicians who carry more than one state license need to know. More details in Chapter 17 of my book, The Locum Life: A Physician's Guide to Locum Tenens. Please let me know what you think!
