Tammy has had a multifaceted career as a clinical anesthesiologist, researcher, residency program director, inventor, and medical device company entrepreneur while also finding time to raise a family. Now a tenured professor, she dumped her less appealing administrative duties to devote two full days a week to writing.
Tammy is the author of the newly released medical thriller, “Fatal Intent.” While writing, she fell in love with her characters to the extent that she has already written a sequel, “Misfire,” scheduled for publication in January 2023! A third novel in the Kate Downey Medical Mystery Series is also in the works.
