My Favorite Mistake

Many thanks to Mark Graban for inviting me as a guest on his podcast, "My Favorite Mistake." Mark Graban is an internationally-recognized consultant, published author, professional speaker, blogger, podcaster, and entrepreneur.

Mark and I had a great 45-minute discussion about one of my memorable errors and what it taught me. We discussed the inevitability of "human error," but also how health care systems can be designed to minimize (rather than facilitate) them. We discuss teamwork, burnout, and the value of one-on-one communications.
