Many thanks to my old friend, John Bennett, MD, retired ER doc and founder of the educational platform "Neurosurgical.TV. If you haven't watched it, it's fascinating. Neurosurgical.TV includes discussions presentations from neurosurgeons from distant parts of the world. Fascinating. John has been a pioneer in using social media to advance medical education, beginning with "Google Hangout" interviews years ago.
John and I had the opportunity to discuss my new book, "The Locum Life: A Physician's Guide to Locum Tenens," for about 30 minutes. John is in Miami, and presently, I'm in the Philippines. We've both discovered the "Zoom" video platform and had a lot of fun with our "virtual" backgrounds.
