Essential Life Skills

Writer's picture: anwilneranwilner

CompHealth, a locum tenens agency, published my essay today, "Essential life skills for a good locum tenens doc." While written with a locum tenens physician in mind, the message applies to full-time physician employment as well. The article includes a description of the "3 A's of Success," which I have found very valuable tenets.

I had fun writing the piece because it obliged me to review what works and what doesn't work when beginning a new assignment or job. While I hope to keep my present position for a while, I should probably reread this essay from time to time to help keep my best foot forward!

As always, your feedback is welcome. And please don't forget to check out my new podcast, "The Art of Medicine with Dr. Andrew Wilner," available on your favorite podcast player and as a video on YouTube.
