It's tax time! So, many thanks to Alexis Gallati, EA, MBA, MS Tax, CTC, CTP, Founder and Lead Tax Strategist Of Cerebral Tax Advisors, for sharing her experience with the IRS on "The Art of Medicine with Dr. Andrew Wilner."
Cerebral Tax Advisors specializes in advising medical professionals on efficient tax strategies that comply with IRS Guidelines.
Alexis is also the author of “Advanced Tax Planning for Medical Professionals.”
Cerebral tax advisors prepare tax returns for physicians. With a thorough understanding of the ever-changing tax code, Alexis and her team help physicians pay the appropriate amount of taxes, no more, no less. Alexis also has skin in the game, as she is married to a physician.
Although there are rules prohibiting child labor, during the interview she did share a little know exception (at least to me!) that one can employ their own children! As I understand it, their income is too small to be taxed and can be invested in a retirement fund! I'm considering bringing that little tip home! Check with Alexis for specifics.
