Hyperbaric Oxygen for TBI???

I couldn't help but notice a recent journal article that recommended hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) for post-concussive syndrome and chronic brain injury. This was great news! Hyperbaric oxygen is usually well-tolerated, and although not available everywhere, is an established therapy employed for burns, decompression sickness, wound healing, and about a dozen other FDA-approved indications.


However, after I read the authors' 33 page argument in favor of hyperbaric oxygen for traumatic brain injury, I was left unconvinced. Please see my Medscape Expert Opinion here:
