In this 10-minute Medscape interview, Daniel Friedman, MD, brought us up to date on the latest data about SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy Patients), reported in the June issue of Neurology. According to Dr. Friedman, the incidence of SUDEP has decreased over time, possibly the result of better physician education and improved access to health insurance. That's surprising and encouraging news!

Lastly, just for fun, please don't forget to check out my new program, “The Art of Medicine with Dr. Andrew Wilner.”A new interview posts every two weeks. I hope you enjoy them.
